Dangerous Dads Kernow
July 25 at 9:30 am to 11:30 amFree
We are very proud to be part of the Dangerous Dads network. For more information about Dangerous dad and their Ethos please visit their website http://dangerousdads.org.uk.
At Heart of the Woods we want to provide sessions that allow dads, grandads and all male carers a chance to share time in nature with their children in fun, inclusive and challenging sessions full of activities. We run these sessions with no set cost and ask that you leave a donation on the day towards materials used and campfire snacks and drinks if possible.
We ask that you come dressed appropriately and prepared for all sorts of weathers. Sensible footwear is essential as there will be walking over uneven terrain.
With regards to food we will provide a snack around the campfire but if you have any dietary needs please make us aware prior to the start of the session. We recommend bringing a drink of water as it can get very warm in the woods.
We do have compost loos, hand washing and baby changing facilities on site.
Parking is available in the woods or the layby near to the entrance to the woods.
Please note due to government guidelines :
- All sessions must be pre-booked via our website and are restricted in numbers. You need to book an adult and a child ticket.
We do have a full Covid-19 Risk assessment in place and have adapted our camp areas to allow for social distancing, alongside adaptions in our activities & use of equipment. .
PLEASE do not attend your session if you are showing any of the main symptoms of Covid -19 ( high temperature, consistent cough, loss of taste or smell )
